As the Chairperson of the Makerere Grants Management Steering Committee, I am delighted to have a team dedicated to advancing grants management at Makerere University as we aim towards a research led Institution.

This committee offers direction, and oversight to ensure effective handling of pre-award and post-award stages in the grant cycle.

Through GAMSU, we provide wide-ranging support to faculty, and staff, in securing and managing grants. We understand the critical role that funding plays in motivating development and research.

Together, we can partner and make significant contributions to knowledge and society as we build for the future.
