Grant Funding

Accessing Grant Funding

GAMSU supports faculty and staff in searching for, and securing funding opportunities from external/internal funders to support different research interests permissible by the government of Uganda. Research and innovation are the drivers of the University’s vision and mission.

Through the Unit, the university is registered with over 10 funder platforms accessible to all university staff and faculty. These provide convenience and the ability to search and access active funding calls and opportunities.

To access open calls follow the link  https://gamsuportal.mak.ac.ug/grant-calls (You will need a Makerere email to access).

We try and ensure that all the information we share on funding opportunities is correct, but we can’t guarantee that funding opportunities will not change or become unavailable after being added. Please check the listing on the funding organization’s website for the latest information.
